NO
Can I wear headphones during the race?
We do not recommend usage of any audio equipment during any of the races. If you use
an audio device you do so at your own risk.
Is there a limit on the number of race participants?
YES
Full Marathon is limited to 2000 participants
Half Marathon is limited to 2000 participants
Relay is limited to 160 teams of 5 participants
5K is limited to 1,000 participants
KidsK is limited to 800 participants

Can I transfer my registration to another runner?

NO name transfers are allowed whatsoever
We will allow transfers between races due to injury until 2/28/10
There is a $10 transfer fee
No transfers will be allowed after 2/28/10 - No exceptions
  

Can I have a refund or defer my registration?

There are no refunds and no deferrals

 

Is there a time limit for completing the Marathon?

YES

The Ogden Marathon has a time limit of 6 hours (1:00 pm).
Runners must reach mile 17 by 11:30am. Runners that do not make the cutoff will be
asked to leave the course. The Ogden Marathon will provide transportation to
the finish line for the runner's safety and security. The race begins at
7:00am, earlier starts will not be supported by the Ogden Marathon.
Where will the lost and found be located?
Items lost on the race course should be turned and available at the GOAL Foundation Volunteer booth

How cold is it at the start? Will there be heat at the start? How should I dress?
It is typically 35 - 45 degrees.
YES, there will be fire barrels at the start to keep you warm.
Don't overdress. Dress as if the temperature is about 20% warmer than it actually is.
Where can my family watch the race?
At the Eden Town Park (parking is limited).

Can I or my family drive to the start of my race?
Full Marathon - NO - Take the bus
Half Marathon - YES - Be early, roads close, parking is limited. Best to take the bus.
Relay Points - NO - Take the bus
5K - YES - No bus to the 5K start
Where can I park during the Marathon?
Parking is available in downtown Ogden and at the host hotels
Can I ride the Frontrunner to the Marathon?
The Frontrunner is a great way to get to the the Runner's Expo
The Frontrunner does not leave early enough to make it to the Marathon
Will there be a shuttle to take me to my hotel after the race?
Check with your hotel
Can I participate in the Marathon and still be able to watch my child run the KidsK?
YES The KidsK starts at 12:30pm
If you would like, you can even run the KidsK with your child
Are strollers allowed in the FULL or the HALF Marathon?
No strollers are allowed
